A Sad Day

Our lovely weather station is broken after an inexplicable accident involving high winds and the garden swing; the anemometer has fallen to bits, the rain gauge has lost its lid and it no longer uploads anything. Everyone is very sad and the radio has been playing gloomy music all day long. We had it for many years and it was part of our lives.
Admin1 is reading The Voices Beyond by Johan Theorin. Admin2 is reading The Startup Wife by Tahmina Anam, a freebie she won in a comp which was insane but OK.

  1. Obviously we are sad for you mainly, but we see it as our back garden monitor too ? . You say you’ve had it for years, do you remember how many? I ask this now because I have the memory of, well i think a fruit fly would out perform me.
You must all be devastated. Oddly I didnt notice any telly programmes being interrupted to give endless obits.

  2. 13 going on 14, with a few spare parts over the years until Maplins went bust. Don’t despair; the new one is here and will be set up soon xxx
