We have reached the point where the solar panels have made more money than they did last year (but probably not if adjusted for inflation).

We’ve just finished watching Spooks series 5 and are eagerly awaiting delivery of series 6 and 7 of spooky nonsense (though we’re both missing Ruth and Colin… (highlight to unspoiler)).
Today the woodcutters came and chopped down the dead larch and all the enormous trees next door that have shrouded our garden in gloom. Good day sunshine.

Admin1 couldn’t get on with Between Summer’s Longing and Winter’s End by Leif GW Persson — too much hyperactive scene-switching — and is now reading Fleshmarket Close by Ian Rankin. Admin2 is reading Lasting Damage by Sophie Hannah which turned out to be ridiculously implausible. We are watching The Returned (shame they didn’t keep the French title, Les Revenants).
A cold, windy, cloudy and intermittently rainy day, but the solar panels still managed to deliver 5kWh.
