There was a spectacular light show, with lots of computer animations:<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-17865\" src=\"http:\/\/vermilionsands.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/anim2.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" \/>The PSB catalogue is so extensive (and such consistently high quality) that our guesses for the opening number were all wrong (we both favoured <em>West End Girls<\/em>, which was near the end). Happily for Admin1, <em>Being Boring<\/em> was also played. And there were great versions of <em>It&#8217;s a Sin<\/em>, <em>Heart,<\/em>\u00a0<em>Domino Dancing,<\/em>\u00a0and a sadly Dusty-less <em>What Have I Done to Deserve This<\/em>. They missed out <em>Shopping<\/em>, though \ud83d\ude42<br \/>\nAll in all, a splendid time was had by all&#8230;<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-17866\" src=\"http:\/\/vermilionsands.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/vlcsnap-2022-05-21-20h20m14s950s.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" srcset=\"https:\/\/vermilionsands.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/vlcsnap-2022-05-21-20h20m14s950s.png 600w, https:\/\/vermilionsands.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/vlcsnap-2022-05-21-20h20m14s950s-300x169.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 709px) 85vw, (max-width: 909px) 67vw, (max-width: 984px) 61vw, (max-width: 1362px) 45vw, 600px\" \/>It was our first trip out of Yorkshire for two and a half years and we found Manchester as rainy as always, and the prices at the AO Arena extraordinarily exorbitant (\u00a35 for a litre of water FFS, and an incredible \u00a335 for a poor quality &#8216;official merchandise&#8217; T-shirt).<br \/>\nAdmin1 is rereading <em>Spook Street<\/em> by Mick Herron.
