Summary Despite a gloomy summer, 2020 was our second best year in terms of output and our best for earnings. The excellent result was due to a very good April, with seven out of our ten best-ever April days, and, particularly, May, which was our best-ever month at 293.356kWh. July and August were very poor and we had our worst ever October. As in 2019 there were no zero-watt days, and we had three days over 13kWh. We added a temperature records page to the weather part of the site, which has some relation to the panel performance -- average temperatures at top right, panel performance underneath. This showed that 2020 was the second warmest year on average since we started keeping records in 2010. It also revealed the inexorable gradual rise in average temperatures over the ten years. |
