Admin1 is reading Jingo by Terry Pratchett. Admin2 is reading The Last Temptation by Val McDermid. We scored 7 in the Guardian Weekend quiz. Could be worse.
Kofi na yini: Ethiopia Yirgacheffe Kochere Kore Natural: fruity.

Anemone Action

Admin1 is reading Men at Arms by Terry Pratchett.
Coffi y dydd Ethiopia Sidamo Kebel Kercha Guji Natural: more like raisins than blueberry muffins, but exquisitely tasty.
Bright Light Kite Flight

A sunny day for a change; birds, buds etc. Spring is coming!
Caffè della giornata: Taylors Rich Italian
Kite in Flight

We scored 10 on the Guardian Weekend quiz which we had to do online because there was no mag in our Guardian.
Kaffe af/av dagen: Bottega Milanese la Classica: coffeeish.
Venus in Blurs

Dark enough to see the planet but too dark to hold the camera steady. Thought about using a tripod but liked the title.
Admin2 watched Toy Story and started reading Dead Girl Walking by Chris Brookmyre.
Cafe del dia: Costa Rica Finca Arbar El Manatial Yellow Honey — quite a mouthful!
Snow and Slush
Too warm to settle, too cold to melt. Admin1 read Don’t Look Back by Karin Fossum (pretty good) and is now reading The Human Flies by Hans Olav Lahlum, which is like reading a very extended Logic Problem. Admin2 was reading The Torment of Others and is now reading A Place of Execution, both by Val McDermid and both pretty good.
Kahawa ya siku: Blake — dried fruit and earthy, not so strong.
Happy Birthday Audrey

A rainbow cake on a windy day.
Admin1 is reading The Torment of Others by Val McDermid. Admin2 is reading Voices by Arnaldur Indriðason. We are watching Braquo Season 3.
Kaffee des Tages: Kicker (fruity and a touch sweeter than the others), and Pocket Coffee, a chocolate containing a shot of espresso. Do not bite!
Weather of the Day: Windy
Admin2 is reading The Peripheral by William Gibson and initially finding it quite hard going; after reading a string of mainsteam novels, an opening sentence featuring a character “glitched by phantom haptics” was a bit disorientating, but persistence eventually paid off. Coffee de jour: Jabberwocky; another fruity one but didn’t gyre and gimbal as much as Jailbreak.
Merry Xmas Everybody!
Roast beef, roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, stuffing balls, carrots, peas, purple sprouts (which turned green when cooked) and gravy. Yums! We watched The Code which was great till it ended in a rush in a plethora of loose ends and implausibilities. Coffee of the day: Jailbreak – citrussy with a kick.
