Cloud of the Day: Contrails

X! TEN kilowatts! And yesterday we only made ONE!
You wouldn’t believe some of the barmy ideas some people have about contrails.
Cloud of Yesterday: Cumulus fractus with a surfer
Cloud of the Evening: Lenticularis
Cloud of the Day: Cumulus humilis
Cloud of the Day: Velum
Weather of the Day: Rain rain rain rain rain rain
Cloud of the Day: Stratus undulatus

It is looking more and more likely that the April output from the solar panels will be worse than that of March. Clouds, you were lovely. We enjoyed your performance. Now go away.
Weather of the Day: Rain, very unsettled
Head in the Clouds: Just a pretty face
Clouds of the Evening: Party time
Cloud of the Day: Insulation
Today a couple of blokes came round to insulate our house under the Wrap Up Leeds scheme. While they worked a gentle snow of fluffy fibre flakes fell all around, but as they worked, the insulation worked open the ventilator in the bathroom and filled the room with a fabulous fall of fluff.
Weather of the Day: More rain
Weather of the Day: Rain
Yesterday, despite a constant procession of large cumulus clouds, the solar panels had their best day ever. Today, under an incessant downpour, we barely scraped a kilowatt. And yes, the face of an evil whiskery dog appears in the shadow of the bollard. Pareidolia is inescapable.
Cloud of the Day: Clouds that Look Like Atheists
Critters of the Day: Lady(and Gentleman)birds
Cloud of the Day: Clouds That Look Like Things

Clouds That Look Like things is available from all good bookshops. For some reason, there are no pictures of clouds that look like cauliflowers.
Cloud of the Evening: Stratocumulus
Cloud of the day: Cumulus congestus
Cloud of the Day: Expanding cumulus
Cloud of the Evening: Stratus duplicatus
Critter of the Day: Ladybird
Cloud of the Day: Scud

OK it doesn’t look very like a fish but it looks about as much like a fish as this fish looks like Jesus. And the fish is Jesus’ avatar, after all.
